Leisurely days spent coloring with Mr. Sketch markers may be a forgotten pastime, but the fondly remembered childhood scents have been revived in the form of nail polish.   Tuff Scent has created a nail polish line of more than 20 colors (from sparkly to standard to bright) and delicious scents (some signature scents of summer include peach, pineapple, blackberry, ocean breeze, and grapefruit).  Each bottle also comes equipped with a feel-good name and quote.

The line was originally launched in 1996 by mother-daughter team Lisa Arnbrister and Sylvana Barbash, and was carried at many reputable stores, including Sephora, Nordstroms, Saks Fifth Avenue, Fred Segal, and Planet Blue.  The line re-launched this year, bringing back all of the favorite classics, as well as some fun newbies.   The trend is quickly catching on with many celebrities, with A-listers like Vanessa Hudgens, Reese Witherspoon, and Mary Kate and Ashley Olson all spotted wearing Tuff Scent.

This time around, the line has added a charitable component.  A dollar of the proceeds from every bottle sold will be donated to support breast cancer funding and research in an effort to find a cure to the prevalent disease.

The funky and fun nail polish line retails for $14, and be found at www.tuffscent.com and www.shopfinenfunky.com.
